Missy Elliott blesses fans with futuristic new video off of her comeback EP Iconology she dropped in August.
“DripDemeanor” was directed by Derek Blanks and Missy, the video stays true to her visual style with mind-bending imagery and dope dance sequences choreographed by Sean Bankhead.
The video starts off with Missy, and her crew of dancers moving seductively to the production from Timbaland, Corte Ellis, and Elliott. Everyone is dressed in punk-gothic style bodysuits that fit the vibe of the song perfectly. The video sticks to the main theme throughout, while throwing in some dope imagery towards the end such as Missy’s 4 story hair building while Sum1 is singing the chorus from the top floor.
“DripDemeanor” is the second visual from the Iconology project, like the first visual “Throw It Back,” Teyana Taylor makes a cameo alongside the same young woman decked out in the red Adidas outfit. The video ends with the two ladies in the hall of Missy where Teyana answers the question “Was Missy always a Queen?”
