Where Have All The Workers Gone? Labor At 50 Year Low
The United States Of America: COVID changed the workforce forever for the good and the bad. Let’s really look at this. At the start of this, you were giving people on unemployment an extra $600 every two weeks. So from the rip, those who were not working were crushing the game. Easily every two weeks bringing home $1,100-$1,400 if not more for doing nothing. For the majority of people, they can work with that if they balance it properly. Two you gave people all this extra time to figure out what they really wanted to do, I was able to quit my job and transition to Uber and Door Dash completely working on my own time now successfully chasing my dreams. Three the majority of bosses and the leadership sucks today they don’t know how to lead trust me if seen it all. Yes of course there are some exceptions to the rule, but for the most part, if you are an employee you are replaceable. Lastly, companies realized they are able to be just as productive with less.
